Gayla Carpenter-Sanders specializes in insurance defense, premises liability defense, business organization, and family law. "Bringing closure to a legal matter is the most fulfilling part of my work,” she says. "It illustrates to my clients that I feel accountable to them and am willing to work as hard as I can until the job is finished.”
A native of Vicksburg, Gayla is active in community service such as Meals on Wheels, Tougaloo College National Alumni Association, and the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project.
She received her B.A. degree from Tougaloo College and the J.D. from the University of Florida School of Law. While studying in Gainesville, Gayla was honored as a Virgil Hawkins Scholar and received an American Jurisprudence Book Award in Trial Practice.
