Roy Liddell represents clients ranging from small businesses to large companies in cases involving business disputes, significant accidents, claims of fraud and bad faith insurance defense litigation. He describes his approach to litigation as "getting cases into federal court if possible, seeking early resolution when feasible, and vigorously defending cases where necessary.”
In dealings with clients, Roy emphasizes personal attention and clear communication. "I want clients to know that I understand and appreciate their personal stake in the outcome of their cases. They need to know we sincerely care about that outcome and will work diligently for the best possible result.”
Roy has tried numerous cases to verdict, including a recent case in which he secured a defense verdict in a multi-million dollar contract claim by a hospital against a managed care company. Roy also recently obtained a defense verdict for a trucking company in an action alleging wrongful death in an accident. Roy's appellate experience includes obtaining reversal of a $38,000,000 verdict against an insurance company accused of bad faith in handling an insurance claim.
A native Jacksonian, Roy earned a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and the J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, he was selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer.
