J. Spencer Young

Spence Young practices in the areas of general and commercial litigation. He is also actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association and a volunteer attorney for the Mission First Legal Aid Clinic.

Spence earned his B.A. from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he majored in political science and philosophy. He received his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, and was a member of the Moot Court Board, a Dean's List Scholar, a Legal Research Fellow, and recipient of the Frisby Griffing Marble Scholarship and two American Jurisprudence Awards for Pretrial Practice and Electronic Research Seminar.
