Trey Dellinger devotes most of his practice to insurance defense, ranging from bad faith actions and consumer protection cases to state and federal appellate work. Educated in science before turning to law, Trey notes that his science background gives him a different perspective on law. "I know that if you don't master the first principles, you will never be able to solve problems. When approaching a legal problem, I always try to keep the basic purpose behind the applicable law in view.” Regarding his approach to litigation, he adds: "My strength is the ability to analyze complex legal issues and then simplify them in plain terms.”

A native of Corinth, Trey worked with Lowrey & Dellinger, P.C., and then as a sole practitioner before joining Wells Marble & Hurst in 2001. He earned a B.A. in Physics magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi and the J.D. cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he received the Robert W. Upchurch Award for Excellence in Federal Jurisdiction.

Trey is active in various professional associations and community service efforts, including the Cure Sickle Cell Foundation.
